The design reinterprets the Parcheesi board through a gridded geometric composition. The four volumes at the corners are identified by the colours of the game. The classrooms are covered by sloping exposed-concrete slabs with skylights, bringing in natural light and providing overhead illumination to the interior spaces. The main entrance is emphasised by a warped roof that playfully marks the entry as part of the game itself.

LA ATUNARA
LA LÍNEA DE LA CONCEPCIÓN, CÁDIZ

The Day Care Centre and Day Stay Unit is organised as a set of juxtaposed prismatic volumes, combining a main block clad in limestone-toned stone with a contrasting secondary volume in a reddish finish. Large glazed surfaces on the ground floor maximise natural light, while horizontal louvres or brise-soleil on the upper floor control direct solar radiation. The ensemble is completed by paved, barrier-free perimeter landscaping that ensures universal accessibility.

SANTA CATALINA

The venue is a modular, rectangular-plan structure designed to be dismantled during the winter. It has two distinct zones: an open area with a terrace shaded by angled louvres, and an enclosed area housing the kitchen, bar and restrooms.

The bar wall acts as a sculptural piece that brings together art and architecture through a three-dimensional assembly of timber pieces of different species, sizes and tones. Its irregular, textured design includes a pattern of strategic openings that works as a permeable lattice, letting the sea breeze through and framing views of the beach.

DACARRETE

This project converts a former substandard dwelling building into a residential building listed under Grade 2 Special Protection. The intervention stands out for its sustainable approach: it retains the original stone walls, whose high natural thermal mass passively regulates indoor temperature and drastically reduces energy demand. The building now houses 11 apartments designed to ensure excellent natural light and cross-ventilation for constant air renewal, combining the conservation of architectural heritage with maximum efficiency and liveability.

Project Types

My practice focuses on residential architecture, from coastal villas to mountain retreats, as well as small-scale commercial projects including workspaces and boutique retail environments.

I also undertake interior transformations and renovation projects where the existing building has character worth preserving and enhancing. Each commission is approached with the same care for context, craft, and timeless design.

Let's discuss your space

If you're considering a new project or transformation, I'd welcome the opportunity to explore how we might work together.
